True Life at Mansfield University

MTV’s “True Life” has provided a window into the struggles, hopes, and dreams of young people. Narrated solely by its characters, each episode documents the unusual–and often remarkable–circumstances of real individuals. Mansfield University senior Barry Hughes was the subject of a recent True Life episode.  Fellow student Matthew Coppadge talks with Barry about how he was chosen for the show, the MTV experience and the reaction from people around the country after the show aired.
